Playa del Inglés Beaches & Locations

Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés share the same long ribbon of sand, thus making the strip the biggest beach on the island.

However, its size is its saving grace so that, in spite of its popularity, it is always possible to find an uncrowded spot. The beach gives you six km. (3 ¾ miles) in which to get your daily walking exercise.
The water is calm and safe for swimming, and massive golden dunes stretch back from the beach.
In the middle of the beach, you will come across the famous nudist section shielded by the largest dunes.
When you tire of walking or feel like a bite, snack stands, and loungers appear at regular intervals.
For a real meal, aim for the lighthouse end of the beach.
